Positive Psychology CenterWelcome to the website for attendees of the Positive Education Summit 2019, sponsored by the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, and The Eisenhower Fellowships.
This is a small gathering of about 35 attendees that will be held in Philadelphia from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9, 2019, to discuss the future of Positive Education and honor past accomplishments. Attendance is by invitation only. This is an immersion experience that will start with an opening dinner on Friday, June 7 at 6:00pm and continue through Sunday night, June 9, including all meals in private rooms for our group.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES (Updated June 4)
LOCATION OF OPENING DINNER: The opening dinner will start at 6:00pm on Friday at a restaurant only a one-minute walk from the Westin Hotel. See above "Schedule of Activities" for details.
MEALS: See the above "Schedule of Activities" for all meal times and locations.
TRANSPORTATION: We will provide group transportation for Summit activities. All meetings will be at the Westin Hotel. For the Saturday and Sunday dinner at Dr. Seligman’s house, we will provide group transportation for all attendees from the Westin Hotel and back.

DRESS CODE. Please dress as casually as you’d like throughout the Summit meetings. For our opening dinner on Friday, June 7, we will go to a fine restaurant and business casual is recommended for the restaurant. June can be warm in Philadelphia, but hotel and restaurant air conditioning can sometimes be chilly, so please be prepared.
PARKING OPTIONS: For attendees who live locally and need parking, here are some nearby options. These are the rates as of May 20, 2019:
Self-Parking at the Westin Hotel: Daytime 1.5–12 hours: $35. 12–24 hours: $41.
Evening rate for Friday night dinner (arrive after 5pm): $19. If Davio’s restaurant validates your parking ticket, the discounted rate is $15.
Note: Valet rates are significantly higher than the above self-parking rates.
